SKKAA Chartered Schools

All schools within the SKKAA operate under a charter from the national organization. Under their charter, the schools pledge to teach the curriculum and maintain the standards of the SKKAA as set by its Board of Directors and Officers. Charters are renewed annually. The SKKAA currently has schools in Ohio, Massachusetts, Maryland, Wyoming, and New Hampshire.

Focus: The Academy specializes in teaching educational martial arts programs for youth, adults and families. Focus: Earth and cup provides karate, yoga, tai chi movement and aromatherapy to assist with a more holistic approach to daily life. Focus: The Seishin Karate Club focuses on teaching traditional forms (kata) and drills as means of understanding the dynamics necessary to deliver effective self-defense techniques. Classes for teens and adults meet for two hours three times a week and emphasize a well-rounded conditioning regime in a safe and cooperative environment. Advanced students also work on basic Judo throws and takedowns, Jiu-jitsu holds and counters, T'ai Chi Ch'uan, and traditional Okinawan weaponry (Kobudo) such as the bo, nunchaku, sai and tonfa.
